We have ministry
opportunities that span twelve months of the year. This enables your
Short-Term Mission trip to fit your schedule and the type of team
ministry you are prepared to do.
Types
of ministry For
Short-Term Mission Teams:
Children’s
Ministry:
Vacation Bible School
Program from 3 - 5 days; using cassettes [in their language] of
songs & puppet skits, clowns, crafts, drama and other creative forms
of teaching. With the use of Interpreters …. or just God’s love
being shared, your team will be overwhelmed by the warmth,
responsiveness and beauty of the children.
Church Services:
On Sunday, as well as evening
services during the week ... Your team can provide preaching,
teaching, music, testimonies, creative arts, prayer ministry ...
Your team will be enthusiastically received as they share God’s love
and encourage His people.
Street
Evangelism:
The Harvest is truly
ripe! The eagerness of multitudes to give their hearts to Jesus is
almost staggering! Your team can serve Church leaders through
presentation of the gospel with the use of Mime, Drama and
Testimony; followed by your Host Church leader or a team member of
his choice, preaching and giving invitation to receive Christ. As
your team prays with those who respond there will often be dramatic
encounters with the Living God! Your team can also use Flags,
Banners and Dance in their presentations.
Village
Ministry:
Your team may desire to travel into
small rural villages. Where they can distribute clothing, minister
in prayer, and share God's Love. Many of these remote villages are
filled with abject poverty and the people receive very little help.
Often the poverty is both of body and soul ... where the Love of God
is so needed. If your team is ready to “rough it”, a village trip of
several days can be arranged.
Church Building:
You may desire to form or join a
building team to plan and focus on construction work. It is a great
blessing to a Host Church, and their pastor, to have help moving
their building project forward. As your team builds they,
themselves, will be built up!
Medical Teams:
We have been encouraged in seeing
the lasting fruit of the ministry of medical teams. Our teams have
ministered in cities and rural mountain villages. There is such a
great need for medical care in many areas where it isn’t available.
By partnering with the national medical professionals, we are able
to minister to the physical need of the people; as well as to their
spiritual need. Many come to know the Lord Jesus as they are touched
by His Love through Harvest Preparation medical teams.
